The Notebook, by Nicholas Sparks, 1996. Hardcover with dust jacket. SIGNED by author on the title page without dedication or other inscription. 

Condition: very fine / like new, both book and dust jacket, noting that dust jacket has a minute bend at the tip of the upper back corner.

Identified as a Book Club Edition by black cover boards (lettered in gold-colored foil), absence of number line on the copyright page, absence of price/s on the inside front cover flap, and absence of a second bar code on the back of the dust jacket. (While there is no mention of "Book Club Edition" per se, it would be unlikely to be a "limited first edition".)

The 2004 movie "The Notebook" was based on Mr. Sparks' book.

Condition: very good to near fine: dust jacket mildly sunned at spine, a minor abrasion on the back cover, a tiny tear-abrasion of the bottom of the title page (a couple pages deep to the abrasion retain minor dents), all as shown. Spine is tight and solid. A true inspiration to hold and read.
